How to Take Digital Polaroids
Digital polaroids (digitals) are simple, unedited photos that show your natural features. They are the most important part of your application.
Wear simple, form-fitting clothing (e.g., a plain black or white t-shirt/tank top and dark jeans or leggings). Do not wear any makeup, jewelry, or sunglasses. Pull your hair back if it is long.
Take your photos in bright, indirect natural light (e.g., facing a window). Stand in front of a plain, neutral-colored wall (white, grey, or beige). Avoid shadows, direct sunlight, and cluttered backgrounds.
We require exactly three shots:
• Headshot: Smiling and neutral looking straight ahead.
• Profile: Left and right profile.
• Full-Length: Full body shot looking straight ahead.
